Who is your Personal Hero?
The importance of heroes
Heroes are vital. They inspire us, they give us drive, determination and an
ideal to live up to. Heroes are an example to us all. There are thousands of
heroes the world over, saving lives, inspiring others or simply helping quietly
behind the scenes.
Thankfully some heroes do receive the recognition they deserve and go on to
provide inspiration to people everywhere. But many more operate beneath the
radar of the public, meaning they don't get the thanks and rewards their efforts
deserve.
Giving heroes the recognition they deserve
We're here to try to address that balance, to get these heroes out of the background
and into the spotlight, illuminating their efforts and work which so richly
deserve recognition. We want to make sure that YOUR heroes, the ones working
out in your community everyday, get thanked publicly and get their causes publicity.
Don't you think they deserve that?
This is where you step in; we want you to tell us who you believe deserves
such recognition. Let us know who your hero is, who should have a moment in
the spotlight in thanks for their efforts. Such a move will let them know they
are respected by others and that people value their work. What better reward
for a hero is there?
A big thank you
But as well as the thanks they will receive, and the public acknowledgment
of their work, Full Moon Rising, Inc. wants to show them our thanks as well.
So to that end we are offering a prize for the country’s top heroes.
Every month we will review all contest submissions and FMR, Inc.’s panel
of judges will vote on who they feel is the most influential, most hard working
and most deserving hero. The winning hero every month will get $100 worth of
gift vouchers for any of FMR Inc.’s stores, and just to give you a reason
to submit your heroes (although we are sure you would do it anyway) we will
give the person who nominates that hero a $50 FMR Inc. gift voucher.
On top of the reward, every winner will get a blog post highlighting exactly
why they are a hero, showing our thanks for their work or heroic moment and
providing publicity for their causes. Also, we will recognize heroes on special
webpages in our stores.
Want to give your hero the recognition they deserve?
Simply send an email to Webmaster@FMRInc.org
Be sure to include
- 1 Why your hero is a hero to you
- Contact details for both you and your hero
- Make sure it is a local or unrecognized hero (please no politicians, celebrities,
or otherwise widely publicized groups or individuals). We want unsung heroes
who deserve recognition they are not currently getting.
So come on, get that email across and give your hero some public thanks. They
deserve it. |
